It will be fun for the whole family so bring your children to enjoy face painters and balloon artists! Souvenir merchandise and refreshments will also be available for purchase. (PLEASE NOTE: STROLLERS AND WAGONS, SKATEBOARDS, ROLLERBLADES, ETC. ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE RACE SITE. NO BACKPACKS ALLOWED).

Packet Pick Up Information:

Friday, September 15th from 3PM-7PM at Running Excels on 103rd & Western Avenue in Chicago.

Saturday, September. 16th from 10am-2pm at Hale Park, located at 6258 W 62nd St, Chicago in Chicago.

Packet pick up will be held on race day from 8:00am until the race starts at 9:00am at the Southwest Airlines Hangar, located at 5035 West 55th Street at Midway Airport in Chicago, IL. The Midway Miler will start promptly at 10am.

Race-Day Information

Doors to the Southwest Airlines hangar will open at 7 am. Participants are required to bring a photo id for check-in at the Southwest Airlines Hangar, located at 5035 West 55th Street at Midway Airport. No backpacks/bags will be allowed on the course, however, there will be gear check available the day of the race.

Free parking will be available for all participants in the Midway Airport Economy Parking lot, located at 5050 West 55th Street. LAST SHUTTLE WILL BE AT 8:30AM. 

If you are taking the Orange Line to the event, a yellow van will transport you to and from the Southwest Airlines Hangar. Please arrive at the van no later than 8:15am. 

Race-Day Prizes

Midway Runner- the runner who crosses the finish line "midway" will be awarded (2) round-trip Southwest Airlines tickets to fly anywhere in the continental United States. Winner must be at least 18 years of age.

Prizes will be presented to the first place overall Male and Female winners. Age Group Awards will also be given out at the event.

The Fundraising Team who raises the most funds by October 1 will win a Chicago White Sox Skybox experience for 20!

We will also have 40 raffle prizes for the runner’s raffle (please submit your bib tab, one per runner) and an additional 15 raffle prizes will be available to bid on for $10 per arm’s length. Raffle prizes are picked during the race, so make sure to enter the raffle before running!
